I was recommended this garage by a female friend as she didn't get the hard sell and felt comfortable dealing with the chaps at Smallbone. I felt the same. On the strength of her recommendation I asked them to source me a car, which they quite quickly did. They were patient with my ropey test drive (going from manual to automatic!) and were straight forward during the whole experience. Matthew was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend Smallbone and Sons and I'm delighted with my new car!

Couldn't recommend the garage enough. The staff are always helpful, patient, and hardworking- accommodating for all people and families. My family and I have brought 5 cars from Smallbone over the last 7 years due to the high reliability and great service- alongside the great relationship built. They are very good at souring almost any car you want from any range; especially good for a first car that's cheap and reliable. The only garage we feel safe and comfortable buying from. The cars are in perfect condition and with a 3 month warranty it puts you at even more ease. Everything is done quickly but still to the highest standard.

The whole experience of buying my car from Smallbone was excellent. There was no pressure and no sales push. I reserved a car online. Visited the next day, took the vehicle for a test drive, had a conversation with Martin and committed to buy. The care taken in preparing the vehicle before collection was exceptional. In fact I'd say they went beyond in rectifying a couple of items before I picked it up today. I was kept informed of preparation progress.
Smallbone have a wide stock of decent, good quality used vehicles. Their customer service and attention to detail is to be applauded. I recommend them.

A brilliant place to a buy a car, highly recommend. The guys here couldn't do enough for me, topped me up with a full tank of petrol for my long journey home, fixed a small issue that was missed when I collected the car. Nothing was too much. Incredible as always! Martin remembered me and even what I studied! Just went in to browse and walked away with the perfect first car. Popped in to ask for advice about tyres and got a free tyre repair kit replacement!

We have purchased quite a few used cars through Smallbones and have always received excellent friendly service with any minor warrantee back up needed promptly and readily provided. It's a family business which cares about its reputation and has always treated us well.

We work by asking them to source a particular make and model for us and are prepared to wait a short while for them to get the car we want. They keep us informed of progress and we are very happy with the prices we pay. They have always found us very sound vehicles that have given us years of good service.

We use them for vehicle servicing which is as good a service as their used cars business.

They are always professional and friendly, have the car ready when they say they will, and keep you up to date while the car is with them.
