Halloween in Birmingham
Halloween is just around the corner and there’s lots of spooky fun to be had in Birmingham. So much so, we were spoilt for choice when looking at all the different events. To save you the searching, we have put together our favourites so you can get involved in the ghoulish fun too!
Halloween Outdoor Cinema
Friday 1st November
Birmingham’s outdoor cinema is back for a Halloween special. Wrap up warm, bring a chair and get ready for an evening of Spooktacular potions for this year’s film; Hocus Pocus. Keep an eye on the weather and book tickets in advance. The evening kicks off at 5PM so get there is good time to pick the spot for your chair - or broomstick.
Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
Friday 25th October
Visit the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the Monster Party in the Waterhall Gallery with music, dancing and ghoulish games. The fun doesn’t stop there, throughout the week there will be a chance to handle some gruesome objects and there will be a spooky portrait studio too.
21st – 29th October
If you are looking for a week of fun and frights, visit Cadbury World during their Halloween Week. From fancy dress competitions each day, to spooky characters walking the corridors, there’s lots of fun for all the family.
Monday 28th October
An after-hours Science night will run from 6PM – 9PM filled with experiments, creepy crawlies and a fright show! There’s a prize draw for the best fancy dress too so whether you want to go as a mad scientist or a spooky Frankenstein, there will be a prize up for grabs.
