Smallbone and Son named in top three UK car dealers

 Smallbone and Son, the oldest car dealership in Birmingham, has been recognised by Auto Trader as part of the Auto Trader Retailer Awards 2019. The family-run business has been shortlisted in to the top three retailers for outstanding customer service, out of 13,500 car dealers across the UK.

Martin Smallbone, Sales Director of the business, will head to London this Thursday for the prestigious awards ceremony. Hosted by Auto Trader in the heart of the City, seven awards will be given out to motor dealers from across the country as a mark of their integrity and commitment to the industry.

Now in its 12th year, the Auto Trader Retailer Awards are a celebration of the industry and designed to recognise excellence both online and offline. As well as the judging panel of industry experts, winners are determined by millions of data points and a mystery shopping programme. The awards range from the Digital Excellence Award to the Rising Star Award.

Auto Trader is the 16th largest website and has 40 years of heritage. To win an Auto Trader Retailer Award trophy is a great accolade. Previous winners have stated that the award has boosted their business, marketing and profile within the industry.   

On Thursday 18 July, Smallbone and Son will find out if they have scooped the top spot in their category at a glitzing ceremony on Northumberland Avenue, London.
