Complete an Inflatable Obstacle Course
From April 13th to 15th Kidtropolis is coming to the NEC! There will be games, toys, live interactive shows and appearances from children’s TV stars, including Sam and Mark and the pooches of Paw Patrol! To top it all off, there’ll also be a 200ft-long inflatable obstacle course!
Inflatables aren’t just for the kids though, adults can also get in on the action on April 27th at Gung Ho! This 5k inflatable assault course, starting in Cofton Park, is for all ages.
Hunt for Easter Eggs
This Easter, Cadbury is teaming up with National Trust to create Easter egg hunts in 260 locations across the the UK from the 1st to the 28th of April. National Trust sites near Birmingham where you can find some chocolatey treats include Back to Backs, Clent Hills, Packwood House, Coughton Court, and Baddesly Clinton.
Welcome Hatchlings Into the World!
If you pop along to Beckett’s Farm in Wythall from April 13th to 28th, you may just be lucky enough to see some chicks hatching from their shells! You’ll also be able to meet the ewes, lambs and donkeys that reside at the farm.
Immerse Yourself Video Games
Struggling to tear the kids away from their game consoles? If you can’t beat them, join them! From April 19th to April 22nd, Insomnia64 is returning to the NEC in Birmingham for what promises to be its biggest Easter show yet! This gaming festival invites visitors to try the latest games and VR or to get nostalgic with various retro consoles.
Enjoy a Tipple
Giving up alcohol for lent? The Gin and Rum Festival will be the perfect reward for your efforts! Coming to Birmingham on April 19th and 20th, there’ll be over 60 gins and 60 rums to choose from, street food to devour and live entertainment to enjoy!
